Bells Of Hythe Shore Angling Club April Results
22 people fished BOHSAC’s April competition at Milford Shingle Bank and a hard night was had by all. There was only a small amount of weed but with the semi-strong tide it made presenting a distance bait virtually impossible. Most anglers went down to one rod to save hassle and fished only a matter of yards out. I could not help to mention the lack of big hitters in the top 5! No Paull Ciurtice? No Richard “How Much Are Your Ragworm” Burdejewicz?

Here are the results!
1st place (11 points) was Darren Gilder with 98cm and £110.00 prize.
2nd place (9 points) was Ricky Brown with 68cm and £50.00 prize money.
3rd place (7 points) was John Davies with 65cm and £30.00 prize money.
4th place was (5 points) Paul“Monty” Mortimer with 45cm and £20.00 prize money.
And joint 5th place (3 points) was Mark “Pudding Head” Purkiss and Matt “The Bird” Thomas with 44cm and £5.00 prize money.
The biggest fish was a nice 65cm Smoothound earning John Davies £16.00.

Bells Of Hythe Shore Angling Club May Competition
BOHSAC will be fishing a pegged competition at Gilkicker from 7pm-11pm on Saturday the 17th May. Book in is at 6pm at the end car park.
It will be measure and release with a £10 entry fee and £1 optional pool.
Shimano Sea Angler Mission Accomplished
As you might already know Sea Angler magazine run a Mission Acomplised scheme with it’s sponsr Shimano. You can fish for a specific species of fish at a specimen size to earn a mention (and maybe a picture) in Sea Angler and also a sew on Mission Acomplished patch. It is a great way to stay interested on the beach or in the boat this summer.
